You would apply to the university as a transfer applicant as well as apply to the BSN program. Each SON has it outlined what they require and deadlines etc.
I’m pretty sure each SON posts its acceptance rate (direct as well as 2+2 programs) At least the CSU do, right @Gumbymom?
Unfortunately, most of the CSU’ s do not publish their admit rates for the BSN programs especially the 2+2 programs. As I suggested, it might be helpful to contact SON and ask about internal transfer admissions vs outside admissions.
For CSULB, the 2022 data I posted does not specify if the applicants and admits were only transfers from schools outside CSULB (which is most probable) but there is not much detail.
That makes sense, of course, it’s a transfer to that university too, not just the nursing program. Thanks!
I agree! I was more thinking in terms of top percentages. I agree; not getting more than at most one B in pre-nursing is challenging.
