<p>I majored in philosophy because it was something I was interested in and I knew it was really the last chance I would have to study something other than the sciences. And almost every single doctor I had talked to said that if they could do it over again, they would major in something other than biology/science in college.</p>
<p>It doesn’t put you at any disadvantage in med school admissions, so why not? If you really are only interested in biology, then sure major in that, but otherwise, just major in what you want.</p>
