The COA at Stevens is about $67,000 a year. Tuition is $50,000 or so…so your kid got $25,000 if she got half tuition.
That leaves $42,000 left to pay…per year.
Can you really pay $42,000 a year without taking out loans? You said you needed $60,000 in aid for NYU…which means you could only pay $10,000 for NYU…
So…how can you pay $42,000 for Stevens?
Even if this kid commutes, you still need $25,000 which is more than you said you could pay for NYU.
