NOoO...Missed National AP Scholar by 1 Point...

and how do u get your fee waived?

i’m taking like 5-6 tests next year…

and i’d rather spend the money on an iPod or something else…

My school pays for them. AP Scholar with distinction here… Just missed Nat AP, but I don’t really care.

i think the money is tax deductible…so that’s good right?

Not quite. If you’d studied for the AP’s over the summer you would have no problem living a normal life for your school years. I mean hey, it worked for me…

I took 10 exams. Only SEVEN are 4/5s. T_T

Average? 3.frikken9

$664 = lots of money saved on college credit (assuming you can transfer them)

yeah, $664 compared to the money you would have to spend to get the same number of credit hours is a no-brainer.

i wish u get ur money back if u get a 5 lol

some of the classes aren’t even transferrable

I guess you could say I got National Scholar by 1 point. =]

I think that is really lame. You deserve the award. It should be at least 8 exams that average a 4… not 8 that are AT LEAST 4.

your school only pays for you exams if

it’s some rich private school, right?

then i’m outta luck.

lol that’s like saying we are NBA champs minus 1 point.

You could apply for a fee waiver from Collegeboard.

i guess i got lucky with the national ap scholar (although it doesn’t matter for me cause i’m already going to college)

5,5,5,5,5,4,4,4,3,2

Have AP awards ever been a push factor with internships / jobs (especially as a first-year or second-year college student)?

When do we get these awards? My scores were 5, 5, 5, 5, 4, but I haven’t gotten whatever award that qualifies for.

****?..10chars

Here’s the scoop

[AP: Scholar Awards](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Qualifying for an AP Scholar Award – AP Students | College Board)

They mail certificates in the Fall.

all u get is a freakin’ certificate? no plaque, no nothing?
