Social life on north campus isn’t very different. Usually you go down to central for parties/events (although there are a few events that do occur at Pierpont). But all in all, it’s not a big deal. You aren’t “isolated” by any means, but you probably will have to take a bus to Central. But remember, there are LOTS of students in the exact same position. In fact, the 2-3 AM buses on weekends is actually a ton of fun sometimes (imagine like…****loads of drunk kids crammed into a bus…ha, just hope nobody throws up on you). It’s not very different from living on Central Campus. Really, being on North Campus isn’t that big of a deal. Sure, it sucks taking buses to parties and stuff, but you get use to it. And on weekdays I don’t mind living on North the tiniest bit. Only on weekends/nightimes I do (mainly cause I have to take a bus, and buses stop running at 3 AM on weekends and they are much less frequent on weekends)
