<p>When I was at Smith back in the day (late 70’s), my parents used to take me out to eat at Fitzwilly’s for burgers, sandwiches, salads etc. Fitzwilly’s is still there and you can find their menu on line. I also saw someone mention Joe’s for pizza and it made me smile as that is where my Smithie friends and I used to all go if we wanted to get pizza out somewhere. The pizza was thin crust and a bit on the greasy side but reminded me of the great pizza I got as a kid in the New Haven CT area. Joe’s is a bit of a hike from campus and nothing fancy but we enjoyed it nonetheless. In the end, Northampton is full of great dining choices now as it was back then.</p>
