For what it’s worth, safety would not be my concern here as the surrounding neighborhoods these would in are quite safe. There is speculation of one option that is basically on BU’s campus. I’d assume that they would be housed in a group wherever is finally selected so that would hopefully help form community along with shared activities.
I fully agree that paying NU.in prices to live off-campus of Northeastern doesn’t sound like my top pick here - I would probably go for one of the international locations but at least knowing a decent Boston plan is available should it be canceled hopefully helps some.
Really this is just a logistical nightmare all around no matter how you slice it. I certainly don’t envy the choices of high school seniors right now
