@KDavs95 i meant that i got absolutely $0 financial aid and it would cost 30k for the fall semester and 29k for the spring. 60k per year is a little rough for me

anyone in central jersey get any email?

oh wow. That doesn’t sound too good for me… I won’t be attending if I don’t get at least half of the tuition or more. I’m kinda broke :/

Got accepted from Connecticut! 2090 SAT

Still cant login to my portal so no decision yet…im from california

Mm. Rejected in Connecticut. 2040 SAT, great recommendations, okay GPA, strong essay, Native American. It’s a tough year for applicants. :/

Congrats to everyone who was accepted and good luck to those still waiting.

Jeez. I guess it really is a crapshoot then!

Accepted to the NU in program with crappy aid. Definitely declining. I also didn’t get an email so I suggest just going on the portal. Here are my stats though for those who are interested:

Central Jersey decision on portal. Accepted to NU-in??? Informed that NEU was unable to facilitate as many in Boston so fall semester would be overseas campus - Australia, Ireland, England, et al.

There was no mention of merit or financial aid in the notice, and I read that others received information on financials with their notice. If I have to go overseas and pay full ride…I’m wondering if Northeastern is serious. I wouldn’t be considering. I’m confused…accepted by much higher ranked schools, with high merit, almost full rides…thought this would be a safety…what am I missing? Is international campus difficult to get into??? I’m feeling like there is no room in the hotel, so I have to go out of the country. What?

what is NU in program?

Anyone from florida hear yet? It won’t let me log in!

accepted! 28k scholarship + 18k federal aid

Nothing in VA. Why must they do this to us…I’ve been sitting here…all afternoon…Are they just going to keep rolling out decisions all night long or are they going to hold on to some until tomorrow?

That’s what I was wondering, I can’t seem to write my research paper because of the tension.
I don’t think any of the Southern states have heard back yet, correct me if I am wrong.

nothing from California yet

To all accepted to NUin:

NUin is Northeastern’s form of January admit. Instead of just enrolling for the spring 2014 semester they require you to spend the fall 2013 semester abroad at a participating institution.

NUin costs ~30k for the semester this includes tuition and R&B for the semester abroad. When you get back in Boston in January you pay the regular price of tuition and R&B for that semester and the following semesters at Northeastern.

During your NUin semester abroad no federal grants nor loans are available for you, this is the only downside to NUin. I’m not sure if Northeastern disperses their scholarship/grants for the NUin semester, anyone still interested should call Admissions/SFS to ask.

did they give out honors program information already?

Honors program info was included in your admissions letter.

Pretty sure honors is included in your letter. I didn’t get in, though. Kinda disappointed about that, but I likely won’t end up at Northeastern anyway due to financial aid

accepted to NU-in, 1870 SAT 3.9 GPA pretty excited about it!
