Don’t get discouraged!!! Some schools weight GPA’s differently… I don’t really know where I stand either because my school has an awkward GPA scale. My GPA isn’t bad at all but I know it’s a little low for a prestigious school like NEU.
Doesn’t NU have some hints on their portal like other universities like Purdue does?
what would those be?
my school is the same! I think Northeastern re-calculates GPAs to make them more even so maybe that will help us
I have the same Gpa as you. Northeastern’s been my dream school for as long as I could remember, but the more research I do, the less confident I am that I’ll even get a deferral. I would be happy even just getting differed. I hear of people who’s essays/recommendations gave them that push and got them accepted so let’s just hope! Good luck to you
Dont most people apply for STEM at NU?
Good luck to you too!!! I’m sure you will get in!!
Their STEM programs and their Business programs are ranked top 10 in USA.
Did anyone else apply as non-STEM or humanities?
International Business/Venture Capital for me!
imaging they release decisions Feb 1st lmao
I’m going to be at work today until 8pm so if decisions come out, I’m waiting until I get home to check. It’s gonna be the most stressful couple of hours of my life lol
Is applying for STEM more competitive for admissions then?
