Funny seeing another student from my school here lol
In common app here are the questions asked and the choices our student selected:
1st choice experiential Professional co-op
Global Opportunities I haven’t decided if I want to go abroad
Study Abroad No, I would prefer to not study abroad in my first year.
Global Scholars No, I would prefer to not spend my first year studying in London or
Oakland.
Study in Boston Yes, I would prefer to spend my first year studying in Boston.
Oakland Four Year No, I would prefer not to complete my degree at Northeastern
University Oakland.
London Four Year No, I would prefer to not complete my degree at Northeastern
University London.
Now the language only says “I would prefer” and not “I will absolutely not”. So NEU has definitely created some wriggle room for themselves by phrasing it like that. Our student will consider going only if it is Boston Campus.

I did not get the infamous Sat email, but got in Nu.in first semester and Boston fall onwards for engineering. I chose that and I do have high stats. I didn’t see any direct Boston or other campus admits for sat. So, perhaps your decision is today. Good luck.
To newcomers to this thread, it appears that the Saturday emails and acceptances were only for those admitted to NU In and Global Scholars.

Happy Decision Day (hopefully) Anxious Friends! Just jumping on to wish every one a great day and remember… win, lose or draw (accepted, denied or deferred) if your student is amazing enough to even consider applying to NU then they will go to college somewhere and will do big things (or small things in a big way!) wherever they land!
That being said, do you think it’s too late to send the “Pick me. Choose me. Love me!” video attachment to my son’s application?!? iykyk

I have that screen sometimes, but not each single log in.
my son had two statuses yesterday on that screen: spring 2024 and fall 2023. He was accepted to NUin (reflected in the spring 2024 option) and was hoping he might still get a decision for fall 2023 Boston. Doesn’t seem likely - that would be even more of a glitch.

Accepted at Boston after receiving accidental Saturday email.
However, student had non-Boston opportunities as choices 1 and 2 so maybe the Saturday email went to those who applied for or preferred those non-Boston opportunities??
my son said he preferred Boston but would be open to NUin (not sure how choices were worded). I was surprised when he told me he’d been accepted to NUin as I didn’t know he’d selected that option
