<p>@althea, yes, I am pretty sure that this is the first year that the NM scholarship is not full tuition. When you say “the admission said…” do you mean that his admission or scholarship letter said that, or you contacted the admissions office and they said that?</p>
<p>The tricky thing with Northeastern is that they have also made their designation deadline earlier than many other colleges (April 11, I believe) and before our April vacation, so my son won’t have had time to visit any of his RD schools before deciding whether or not to designate Northeastern. Most schools have an April 30th deadline, so you can designate a school when you’ve actually made the final decision as to where you are going?</p>
