Northeastern's Campus

<p>Since the Red Sox are playing the Yankees this evening in the deciding game of the ACLS championship, I thought that some people might be interested to discover that Northeastern’s campus is the site of the first World Series. The game took place in 1903 bewteen Boston and Pittsburgh at what was then the Huntington Baseball Grounds. The university erected a statute of Cy Young at the site along with an engraved home plate.
