<p>I’m not an expert on the multiple different categories of decisions that different schools use, but I do know from my family’s own experience that NMH is certainly not alone in designating certain applicants “financial aid waitlisted.” It appears to be a fairly common designation. The only thing that differentiates NMH from the other schools that use a FA waitlist is NMH’s effort to communicate with families who receive that decision. And that’s a good thing, not a bad thing.</p>
<p>Strategy? Perhaps. Desperation? Hardly. Don’t know what your agenda is, DAndrew, but it’s time to stop trying to spin everything that’s posted into a way to make one school or another look bad.</p>
