<p>northwestern is a slightly bigger school (more undergrad spots), so it seems reasonable that it isn’t as selective as brown, and i think the point that brown gets a lot of “fantasy apps” is very valid—the ivy league “brand name” probably causes many underqualified students to apply…i think it’s that way for most ivy leagues.</p>
