D waitlisted
Thats ok. Accepted at UCLA, Wisconsin, North Carolina (honors college), Smith (20K merit scholarship offered), waitlisted at Wash U and Tulane… Waiting on Brown and Yale. 4.6gpa, 1480 SAT. tons of EC, great essay, great leadership, recs, etc. Still no outright rejections anywhere, although waitlist is pretty much a rejection.
Daughter accepted. Waiting for HPME.
Accepted to McCormick!
My first rejection! Sorry to anybody who I doubted about tonight’s release and congrats to those who were accepted! To those who didn’t get the results that they wanted, I’m sure you’ll all end up at great places as well.

@MMSS2020 Hey! Assuming you’re in the MMSS program (based on your username), do you know when decisions for MMSS come out? I know they say 1-2 weeks but what was your experience?
My D was waitlisted. And honestly, we’re celebrating because we expected rejection. 35 ACT uw GPA 3.95, took math at the university beyond HS math, fluent in Japanese, but very little community service, no IB diploma (b/c was in Japan for a year). Really expected rejection. Congrats to the very few of you who got accepted! I’m genuinely happy for you!

Closure finally- Rejection!!! (It was a huge reach for me and the numbers this year were insane so this was expected) Congratulations to all the extremely qualified applicants who got in- you’ll go on to great places! And those who didn’t- don’t worry we will too!
So what was the RD acceptance rate? Someone earlier was saying it was 2.3% (which seemed low) by 875/36000? Is it 6.8%? like the person earlier said?
