I think most of the people who are applying to NU from community colleges are going to be students who could have gone to a 4 year school out of high school, but could not have gotten into a T25 or so school so they went to CC for whatever reason. And the ones who get accepted will be the handful like littleindia70 who have the excellent HS statistics to complement a near perfect CC GPA.

It would be interesting to see how a CC student with a 3.9+ GPA would stack up against a student applying from a 4 year school not ranked in the T50 (e.g. Boston U, American, Iowa State) with a similar college GPA when they both have identical HS credentials.

I think the people in the best position will be the ones applying from T25 Universities/Liberal Arts Colleges to NU because they will already have excellent HS GPAs, SAT scores and ECs by default so their College GPA can afford to be as low as the 3.3 range. (I would think)
