Northwestern Thread for Transfer Students

^ I don’t know. I think the perceived rigor of their academic program (students transferring from the top-tier schools) will allow them to have a slightly lower GPA than CC students or students from lower ranked 4-year schools and still get admitted. I get the impression that a student with a 3.7+ GPA from a T25 University/LAC would be a shoe in for Northwestern while a student coming from a CC or “lesser” 4 year will need as close to a 4.0 as possible, great recommendations, ECs and great essays to even be a borderline candidate.
