<p>I know someone who got in with a 3.8 from a school that isn’t ranked in the top 100. I also know someone who got in with a 3.65 from a school that’s not top 50. Regarding top 25s, I doubt a 3.3 from a top 25 would trump a 3.7+ from an average university.</p>
