not to sound shalloow...but...clothes?

I have no worries about my d being herself. No matter what clothes she is wearing she has a very distinct personality and is comfortable with herself.

But like alot of girls she has a range of clothing styles to fit her moods and I was wondering what kids wear at Trinity if there is a certain trend or not ( the school’s reputation is preppy and I wasn’t sure what that exactly meant as far as types of stores etc or even if that is true.)

When we visited it seemed kind of middle of the road to me not any particular styles in a majority. Mostly just comfortable. Although I did see more “preppy” clothing than “goth-type” clothing, in fact I don’t think I saw any “goth-like clothing”

Expressing different styles with clothing isn’t frighteneing it’s what some people like to do. I wasn’t asking so that my D would conform to an image she is not comfortable in. I asked so that she would know if a certain trend stood out or not. Whether she would want to wear that style or not is a personal choice, if she is comfortable in it and she is having a day she wants to look a certain way than what is wrong with having the clothes that fit the style?
That’s the great thing about fashion…so many choices.

I think a person can be “themselves” and have a varied wardrobe too.
