<p>Haha, my average debt if I go to the HBCUs that accepted me will be zero. 
It’s far better than the aid I’ll be offered at any of the other schools. Those folks get an A+ for rewarding their applicants with enticing scholarship offers, even though I highly doubt I’ll accept them.</p>
<p>But on the other hand, just the thought of paying for even half of Columbia’s tuition fills me with unspeakable horror.</p>
