It was annual (i.e., not a one-time) money. There were 4 separate components, which were renewable per semester. Two of them were need grant and totaled about $12,000 per semester (Provost’s Scholarship and University Scholarship) and two of them were not (on-campus job and unsubsidized loan) which totaled about $2500 per semester. If my child picks ND, we likely will decline the non-grant part. But about $24,000 renewable annually ($12,000 per semester).
That’s a great aid package, and makes 4 year private a bit more reasonable. Ours is looking at Duke, ND, Tulane, BC, one stretch Ivy - waiting to hear on potential Robertson scholarship for Duke in the coming days.
