My son got waitlisted for investment. What are the chances?
My son also was waitlisted for Investing. We won’t know about his waitlist status until 4/29. Has anyone looked at the logistics in getting to South Bend (from the Northeast in our case)? Unless you can find an affordable flight to South Bend Airport (5+ hr. depending on the stopover), if flying to Chicago, the student would need to take a train (4 hr.) or bus (at least 2 hr.) to get to ND. Bus and Train service are infrequent so it would be an undertaking just getting to ND!

If you can make the trip and have the time, you should think very carefully - it is a massive privilege to be able to attend. My DS went a few years ago and said it was transformational to be amongst such talented people, who ended up at the most amazing elite universities (every single one of them).

Nope, email said 4/29 to be notified of any change to waitlist status.

Does anyone know if they wait until 4/29 to release all waitlist decisions or if they do them one by one as spots open up? Just curious. We have another program that needs to be confirmed by 4/26.

Nothing yet from ND. I guess they will just send update on 4/29 and no sooner.
If anyone actually hears from Notre Dame today about the waitlist (either acceptance or denial), please let us know. Thanks!
