any recommendations for applications from the accepted students? My student is planning to apply next year!
Unfortunately, not the greatest- she was waitlisted. We view it as a denial because it seems like SO MANY were waitlisted (as seen on some posts on another forum) and we know it is highly selective. She was told that WL decisions will come out 4/11 so not too long to wait again.

How did you find out about this? I do not recall seeing this as an option when applying in December?

This was not an option when applying, my D26 applied to and wrote the prompts for the business leadership seminar. This seminar was added after all applications were received. I could not tell you how they chose the students for this seminar, but I assume they looked at the students transcripts to see who would be a good fit.

Did your D26 happen to apply for Pre College Summer Scholars, also?

This was the only summer program that my D26 applied to.
I definitely recommend that your student submit a resume instead of filling out the activity section. The resume was what my D26 spent the most time on in her application.

D26 did a detailed format! From her discussion with others accepted to NDLS the common factor amongst them was definitely that they all had what most would consider a spike in community involvement or leadership.

Has anyone got off the wait list?
The waitlist letter indicates that waitlist decisions would be made by Monday April 11. April 11 is this Friday and it is not a Monday lol so I am not sure if they meant to say Friday April 11 or Monday April 14. I guess we will find out soon either way.

Any updates from any waitlist?
None yet for us- it should be either tonight 6:42pm or Monday 6:42. GIven the typo in the waitlist letter it’s a guess.
Data was recently published for the Power of Investing leadership seminar from 2022 and the acceptance rate was 67% (34 applied/23 accepted/12 enrolled) for those participants that applied to the ND class of 2027. Therefore, for those that did not get in to NDLS, do not be frustrated. There are many other paths in to ND if that is your goal.
out of curiosity, where were you able to find this data? i was accepted to the program this year but haven’t come across anything like this
