Zmc, that answer does not sound familiar to me. Could you be more specific?

for the reading this is what i got…
carpet passage
writer who gives her first draft to a experienced writer she looks up to.
astute mentor

@ZMCIngus Yeah, I think that section was experimental.

@chrismanggg
omg LOOl thanks i just confused myself before but as long as its in the experimental section it doesnt even matter sallgood 8)

which one? the pyramid one is the one that gives you the surface area and you’re asked to find the height. the arc one that looks like a snail i meant that the spiral it formed look like the snail’s shell lol. was the pyramid one part of the experimental though?

Another question about the carpet passage…
what did you guys put for the one that asked why the niece said “no” softly?
I chose the answer that said something like… the uncle sounded intense. I was stuck between “intense” and “angry”

@ZMCIngus I don’t remember which section the pyramid one was in, but I’m assuming the one with the p* question is exp, so if you remember the pyramid one being in the same section, then you’re good.

Also for CR,
SC: exorbitant scarves

  1. the audience’s reaction for the horror question
  2. skeptical, because horror movies allow people to see bad things for horror passage
  3. good for coping
  4. books are tools for wisdom
    Please add on.

i put angry lol. but it probably was intensity…

@fmlfml123 I put “intense”. “Angry” wasn’t supported by the passage. He was just getting all passionate about rug-makers and stuff. That’s what I assumed.

I put intensity for the carpet question.

i got emotional stability for the horror question :frowning:
and @fmlfml123 i got intense too

@SignatureCC

  1. Yes
  2. EDIT: Yes
  3. Yes
  4. Yes

can we talk about the horror movie questions? the second passage was a little weird-- what was the second passage even saying?

wait … for the SC about scarves, was one of the choices “ephemeral” or “ethereal”?
I put ethereal because it means heavenly… please don’t tell me i got it mixed up with ephemeral… T_T

also it was ethereal, not exorbitant.

Im pretty sure the one with the scarves and dancer was ethereal.
And I said the carpet girl spoke softly because of intensity, because the uncle wasnt angry at anything.
For the one where he breathed in, the answer was arduous, right?
Skeptical is defs right b/c horror movies cause people to want to do bad things for horror passage

@benedictharold LOL i felt the same way… didn’t understand what it was saying

@fmlfml123 It was “ethereal”. I put that for that one.

@theuntruth Yeah, it was “arduous”, because it mentioned how he hadn’t felt like he was doing “hard work in a while”.

lol fmlfml it was like the author was trying to say that horror movies bring out peoples’ deepest darkest desires… what a freak
