Nov 17 Makeup SAT

I don’t recall, bleh. My memory of the questions is fading, haha.

for writing the improving passages part…
what was the first question #30? the sentence that needed to be fixed was the second sentence of the passage. it said something like “there are diffeerences between new cars and old cars”
I chose E which was to delete the sentence.

Can u pls elaborate on

2) skeptical, because horror movies allow people to see bad things for horror passage
3) good for coping
4) books are tools for wisdom
Please add on.

I said horror movies are good bc they allow you to see reality or something

And that the main purpose of the passage is that thought and analysis are ultimately the goal. Thoughts ?

@fmlfml123 Yeah, I put E for “Delete the sentence”.

@aimforthesky I can’t elaborate, but that’s what I got for those questions. Sorry :(

did u guys get 4 or 6 (forgot what answer i put) for the one with 4 students and 2 had to be next to each other.

can someone explain why it was 1 + square root of 3 and not 1+square root 2??
also what was 1.10? i don’t recall that question…
btw did anyone get 2010 for the 2008<x<2012 question?

@Snoop1 6.

@sayycheese Because via the 30 60 90, and 45 45 90 triangle rule it was 1 + 1Root3, so 1 + root 3. Tell me if you need me to like draw something out, haha.

Also, yes, it was 2010.

I got 2010

Hey, what did you guys get for the question with a spinner circle
the circle is divided into 3 equal parts with 0,1, 2
the question asked for something like the sum that will most likely appear?
I didn’t understand it, so i omit it
can someone please explain to me?

The dual passage about the economy in world war 2 and the calculation of extra hours there was a question that asked how to describe the passage. like what was passage 1 doing and what was passage 2 doing does anyone remember what they put for that

hmm if it was a 30,60, 9 and the 2 was across from the 90, then the 60 would be root 3 so then the hypotenuse of the 45 45 would be root 3 * root 2, no? LOL idk

btw did you have the probability question where it was like a spinner with 0,1 and 2?

oh and for the basket balls 24/25 difference it was $91, right?

i also got 2010

Snoop1
Can you please explain why the answer is 3)good with coping?
thank you

yvonne416, what was the question again?

i got 4 for spinner question dont know if its right because it was 0,1,2 0+2=2*2=4 all the other choice for not big numbers@yvonne416

by the way when do we get our scores back

The math question has a the circle that is divided into 3 equal parts with 0,1, 2
the question asked for the sum that will most likely appear if spinned two times
By the way, I have experimental math

december 4 we get them back

@MysteryStudent that one was something like Critique…Explanation.

Probability one was 2.

And here’s explanation for the 1 + Root3 question. Sorry if you can’t read it.

for the U.S census CR part, a question wanted to know what the purpose for passage 2 was.
was the answer to “present and analyze?”

And also, there was one that asked which of the following statements would best refute one of the lines in passage 1. (sorry i don’t know how to describe the question further :frowning:
but I chose the answer that said women who used to have part time jobs were beginning to take full time jobs…
