<p>it was parallel/disparity. the “disparity” referred to their economic statuses, and “parallel” referred to the histories of the lives…something about how there were many ups and downs in their live.s</p>
<p>parallel/disparity –> quite sure (they had similar storylines despite economic disparity)
noted/discrimination –> it was definitely discrimination (the ability to discriminate was triggered by “nuance”)</p>
