November 2008 SAT Critical Reading

The one with 23 questions…

I m amazed that there is any experimental on cr …there were just math experimental sections…but Im pretty sure that I did 4 cr and one of those was with 23 questions …I m feeling frustrated right now

hey hookem, was it a big party? you know, with ALL 32 kids of your graduating class? :)

yo, your parents sent you to a private school with 32 kids in the graduating class. and you expect anyone to believe they let you stay out till 2 on ANY day, much less the night before your SAT? hahahaha

educational resource for comics? i dont remember this answer…what was the question referring to? (if im still allowed to ask…)

i thought it was talking about artists’ personal experiences

jesus… why does the party have to involve kids at his school…?

and who cares!!

good lord, satwizard, I feel deeply sorry for you.
It’s now onder you bobmed CR, because you obviously can’t read and correctly interpret anything.

The party wan’t hosted by anyone at my school. It was at someone’s house from the area public school (Westlake) whose graduating class is upwards of 1000.

and, as CEO stated, who cares? You clearly have nothing better to do yourself, and you probably don’t have many friends due to your severe lack of social skills or tact.

Please return to your sandbox

people remember the purpose of this thread…discussing critical reading not arguing about childish things …

^ THANK YOU.

did we ever determine whether “unique” was the right answer to that one vocab problem?

yeah, i believe we settled it was unique.

i thought it was archetypal… lol

lol when i made a thread people yelled at me for thinking it was archetypal so i figured it was unique

The only one you need to feel sorry for is yourself. honestly, i’m happy to read you went to a party, and hope it’s true, because you come off across as a pathetic, arrogant, uptight loser, bred that way by your parents.

i have plenty of good friends. i hope you can say the same about yourself.

and yeah, it is “now onder” who bombed the critical reading. probably me. i’m sure you got a higher score on CR. good luck.

i never intended to come across like this. i made a comment in jest that it was a joke for discrimination to be a CR word. however, you somehow, pathetically and snobbishly, managed to take that comment and come back with a rude remark. that’s to be expected from a kid w/ low self-esteem, which is what you came across as to me. and i wish you the best, it’s cool if you wish me the opposite.
anyways, i’m out. i probably won’t log in again till the scores come out. i apologize for my judgemental comments. Peace.

now that we can discuss freely can anybody help me by telling the archetypal/unique question?

yeah that was the other option, are we 100% sure it’s archetypal?

anyone answering ???

what was the answer to the flashback/personification/foreshadowing question–with alu?

to spiralcloud: it was clearly personification.

btw i put archetypal on that one question as well but i forget what it was

I put flashback…

to spiralcloud: it was clearly personification.

the book smiled back at him. it was giving an inanimate object human-like traits.

btw i put archetypal on that one question as well but i forget what it was

damnit… i knew i misread the question…

I didn’t know what it was asking and I just marked down flashback…

ahh… i’m probably getting a 550 again…
