I thought I could just highlight and hit the quote button to take this section and put in quotes. But it quotes the whole passage and then I deleted what I didn’t want. If someone has a better way let me know what I am doing wrong. Thx.

I believe you are correct; if there’s another way to select text, I have not found it.
