NROTC Decisions

You bet! There are good people everywhere, even when birds of a feather flocking and mocking make them tough to find. Surely it must be challenging for this great American young lady to be in the swamp of the intellectually liberated. She may be gaining experience in being a “minority” and guerilla warfare tactics. ;)

I’ve read some of MARINEROTC’s posts, and she’s both bright and young. And of course she must defend her choice, as would I. Still I must wonder if her future alma mater recognizes the diamond in its mids-t. (Sorry.)

I wonder if the young man’s observation of “hard core” was euphemism for “extremist”? Or maybe even “conservative?”

Just got finished listening to a compelling set of lectures … delivered at the other “yard” up in Boston … entitled “Why They CAN’T Teach Ethics @ Hahvod.” On the $$. Pretty sad scenario portrayed of a great many of our intellectual elite and their utter disdain for young people like ours. Their seeming definition of freedom is a tad far-fetched, imo. Each to her own in determining that which is most worth emulating, I spose.
