<p>I originally thought so as well, but I asked 2 current NDSEG/NSF fellows and they both told me what I just posted above your post (although I never did bother to read all the fine print on the NSF & NDSEG websites). I’m pretty sure they’re right, but if not, I’ll be in for a surprise in 3 years … :0</p>
