Finally got my passport today, hope I’ll get a chance to use it this summer
They released China last year beginning on the 24th so everyone cross your fingers!! I’m not really sure what the hold up is for arabic~~
Does anybody know if you have an advantage for the year program if you already did the summer program in the same language?

Successful alumni of summer programs will be considered more competitive if they apply for an academic year program in the same language (with the exception of Persian, which has no academic year program).
Is there a specific time when they release notifications on average? I will by dying from the stress today. @nsliyromanov
Just got a notification for Arabic. I’m going to Morocco! 
My daughter just got an email - she’s going to Morocco (Rabat)!
The dates are June 24th to Aug 8th for Morocco (Rabat) and they are putting two kids per host family. Pre-departure orientation in D.C. June 21-23. My daughter is so excited! Good luck to all of you who are waiting!

according to facebook an applicant from Florida got accepted. It may go by implementing organization as well as regions.
Does anyone know how many days after the Arabic notifications went out, the China program notifications went out last year?
@elisndc last year they came out either yesterday or today (I forgot which exactly). So I’m guessing they’re coming out today! Stressful time, but good luck!
