<p>Its a really easy situation to point fingers…you have to realize the magnitude of the destruction and the scope of the destruction. New Orleans wasn’t the only place to be hit, in fact, it was the failure of the levees that caused the majority of the problems, not the hurricane directly . Furthermore, the governement could have been there the next day and it wouldnt have changed everything…there would still be hundred of thousands of people stranded without drinking water and homes. Anyways, i recognize the lack of immediate attention, no denying…but I just think it is one of those things that you cant blame anyone for. </p>
<p>As for NU, im glad to hear they are offering the oppourtunity…but i agree, it would be nice if they allowed entrance into another program. Its not like all of the students would be rushing straigh to NU, so they wouldn’t have to provide for many students, just a handful.</p>
