NU/BC/Rice/Georgetown?

I would say that Georgetown, Northwestern and Rice are all comparable academically. As far as pre-med though, Rice may be a little better as it is known for having extremely high medical school acceptance rates (over 90%) along with being located next to the worlds largest medical center (i.e. lots of internship and research opportunities). On the other hand, Georgetown would probably have greater name recognition if you are into that thing even though that matters little to medical schools.

Also, the schools are also very different socially. Georgetown and Northwestern have relatively strong athletics while Rice is lacking (although baseball is consistently top 10). Furthermore, Georgetown is probably preppier while Northwestern and Rice is more laid-back. Rice has the residential college system (look it up) which is unique and one of its stronger aspects, while the other two do not. On the other hand, all of them are located in urban cities, although Georgetown likely has the best location. And in the end, you’ll be happy at any of them (although Rice students are consistently rated as the happiest students and best quality of life by Princeton Review). In your situation it should probably come down to personal preference and not based on academics since GU, NU, RU are so similar academically.
