<p>Northwestern’s engineering program in general is very competitive and very good in terms of an education. As for the question of applying early, it depends on if you can commit to attending Northwestern if you are accepted and if indeed Northwestern is your first choice. If the above is true, then you should consider applying early. If you have any doubts, you shouldn’t apply early.</p>

<p>I think they want you to activate e-mail so they can send you reminders and such.</p>
<p>Regarding merle, lulu, hecky those are the servers and you are assigned one. I got lulu…so I assume it is random.</p>

<p>you’ll get sick of it after a few days. trust me. a few snow angels and a fort and then it’s just this slushy white mess that ruins your shoes and makes your feet cold.</p>
<p>I’m from Hawaii and a freshman this year, and I LOVED the snow! I wish it had snowed more. Yes, it does get old when it’s been on the ground for a few days and is all gross, but when it’s first coming down? Most magical thing ever!</p>
