I do Speech!! But when and hopefully if I get to NU I will join debate, because I love to

good news - I heard that they’re accepting 44% of ED apps

Woah really? Mollykate where did you hear that?
And what was last years percent?

so whats the verdict on the emails. i’ve heard noon as well as 4pm as legit estimates, anyone know anything specific?

my friend is very into looking up things online. he told me about the percentage. i’m not sure what last years was.

are you sure they’re sending emails tomorrow saying accept/reject?

well like if you round some numbers, 1700 ED apps (from some article) and 2000 kids per class. round up a little and say that 30% of the class last year was ED (it was like 28) so thats 600 kids accepted ED. Thats like 35%, but who knows, maybe they let in a lot more ED kids. sorry for the math lol. at this point all the analyzing and agonizing really boils down to a yes or no

I’m a Junior but I’ll ED to Northwestern next year, so I want to know how everybody in CC did as well as Seniors in my school. I visited a couple other school forums that I’m interested in, and they seem to have posted up stats as well as results. I’m wondering why the Northwestern forum is not doing that right now, that would really help next year’s applicants. Or is it just that the results aren’t out yet? Oh boy the Seniors’ college acceptance news is keeping me from studying for finals! I’m a bit hesitant about asking Seniors who have ED-ed to Northwestern, so I would like to ask CC when the results come out. Thanks!

BTW, was last year’s ED acceptance rate 44%? That’s a really optimistic number that keeps me excited for next year!

for the dreaded possibility that we don’t get a response by email…what do you think that means for international applicants? mail takes a good 2 weeks to reach where i am and i’ll be out of the country in 2 weeks…gahhhh

i actually don’t want an e-mail. as much as i do, i don’t think that private schools send them out over the weekend since they operate like businesses. i think getting letters means that same for international students. where are you?

I’m in taiwan

is it true that they don’t defer?

i hear this year that they’re going to defer.

urggggg so,… um we DON"T know when they are going to send mails, and use e-mails or not??? This is killing me T_T

FOR SURE?

i feel your pain. i got a cold because i haven’t been able to sleep. it’s always different. when i last talked to an admissions officer, he said that they were sending the letters tomorrow or monday.

The results are out!!! I got in!!!

deferred =(((((((((((

GOT IN

@aturof - that sucks. But have faith, and remember that you’ll have an amazing four years no matter what college you go to. =)

Is it bad that I don’t yet have an e-mail?

deferred…

WAIT! I’m flipping out! I haven’t gotten an e-mail!
