NU ED responses yet anyone?

Congrats to everyone who got in! Maybe I’ll see you around next year! :)

this is so god damn frustrating

Accepted at WCAS!

So excited!!!

rejected from SoC for theater. blahh
oh well time to send in those other apps!

does anyone know the date by when we should withdraw our applications to other schools? and did anyone who got their acceptance letter already receive their financial aid package notification?

^^ That’s my question statsis, I’m going to call the admissions office on Monday and I’ll post what they tell me concerning withdrawing other applications… Unless anyone else on here already knows lol.

Do we need to send a midyear report, or just a final transcript?

I got my acceptance letter yesterday.
I don’t know if the FinAid comes with it or not since I didn’t apply for financial aid.
Guess that didn’t help at all.
Sorry >.>;;

applying for financial aid is something you had to indicate on the Common Application, right? in addition to sending all the financial forms and such.

bank1019, i thought i read on the acceptance letter online that we need to submit a final transcript as well.

and thank you (about calling the admissions office on Monday).

i really hope that i get enough financial aid. i trust NU, but i wish i knew right now how much i have to be paying for my college education! haha

No prob, no prob. I hope they’re not too irritated (adcom: those overeager ED kids, we need a break!) lol. We do have to submit a final transcipt, but RD applicants have to submit a mid year report… Do we need to as well?

I just finished my dual credit class, so I have to find out if I submit that transcipt now.

bank1019, sorry i’m not sure about the midyear report. i don’t think so though.

from the ED agreement –

I’ve got a question regarding the acceptance letters in the physical mail for anyone who has already got theirs or will get them in a day or two; when configuring your NetID stuff, did it let you set up an e-mail account? I tried and it gave me some message about not being able to do that.

RitsIggg, did you get information about your financial aid package along with your acceptance letter?

I did not receive anything, though I did not apply for financial aid. However, it says regarding financial aid “If you have submitted all required applications, your financial aid will be sent under separate cover.”

And disregard my above post.

okay thanks.

did you get the email account set up?

i got my letter in the mail yesterday… deferred… hope that helps with the mail situation

i live like 15 min away from evanston tho…

I can’t get my email set up…And I don’t know why?
I activated my NetID account, but it didn’t direct me to the email page.

I want… my NU mail to come lol.
Now I’m actually excited for the mail! :D

i want…to know!
im going to have to find out tomorrow argh
