<p>The spring admit option without NUin was eliminated a couple of years ago. Students were told that they could take courses at a comm. college or another university in the fall but that they were NOT to enrol in a degree propgram at another school for the fall semester. This would deny another student being admitted to that school. </p>
<p>Unfortunately, many students did enrol in degree programs at other schools in the fall and then “dropped out” to attend Northeastern in the spring. Northeastern found the rule not to enrol in a degree program elsewhere impossible to enforce.</p>
