NU Pharmacy Program

Yeah davematthews, NEU’s merit aid is definitely based on SAT/ACT scores - My twin brother and I both have the same GPA (3.92 UW), but I got an 1820 on the SAT and he got a 1980. He got a $12,000 scholarship, and I got nothing. :/

magical malik… i dont think neu’s merit is soley based on sat cuz mine was an 1850 and i got 14k/yr 3.7 weighted

Structural-- no, my scholarship wasn’t changed. I believe its a total of 48,000 split between 6 years, actually. with 12,000 first year, and then i forget how it goes from there.

when they tell u the total scholarship amount is it for 6 years? or 4

simplyxcin, I didn’t mean solely, I meant more like, mostly based on SAT scores. A high SAT score is more likely to get you a scholarship than a high GPA.

Just got an email from NEU, bumped my scholarship to $20,700/ year after I sent them a letter asking more : ]

you emailed northeastern asking for more scholarship money and they gave you it?

What I heard is that the maximum amount for Dean’s scholarship is $17K, and you got $20.7K? Could you elaborate it? Congratulations WhySheit.

sjt-Thanks your reply. The second page of the NEU financial letter specified the pro-rated way for Pharmacy/PT major.

I think WhySheit is talking about financial aid money, not the merit based scholarship.

Yes, sorry I didn’t mean merit scholarship, it was a school grant
