Unlimited edits - A big relief, in the 2015-2016 version, unlimited edits can be made to the Common App essay after submission. Previously, only three edits were allowed after submission. This is a significant change and will allow students to tweak their essay as many times as needed.

I could be wrong, but I’m 99% certain this applies to the whole Common App, not just the essay. If you want to be certain, I’d contact the CA people at the link below.

It’s probably best to get in touch with them today, as I’d bet money that December 31st is the busiest day of the year for the folks who keep the Common App running.
