This is the first year the FSU nursing school is doing the additional freshman admission screening for its limited access nursing program, so no one can share how it worked for them getting in previous years because this is the first year for the new set up at FSU. Getting in any nursing program is extremely competitive; if FSU admits you as a freshman into the program–go to FSU. If you go to another college, you’ll probably have to wait 2 years to reapply to the other college’s limited access program, so the advantage with FSU is you find out right from the get go and don’t have to worry about not getting in 2 years later at another college.

Not to be a downer, but you asked, and even though 28 is a good ACT score to gain regular freshman admission at FSU–it might not be good enough to get in nursing program now as a freshman in FSU’s nursing program. Just my opinion.
