Dual Enrollment/AICE/IB/AP courses are weighted up one letter grade for admissions
GPA calculations:
A = 5.0
B = 4.0
C = 3.0
D = 0.0
F = 0.0
If a student does not pass an AP test, they do not get college credit for the class, but their
GPA is still weighted by the grade they make. (An A is still weighted as a 5.0 even if the
AP test is not passes.) Students can take the SAT/ACT as many times as theyd like.
*Due to the high caliber of applicants, the minimum for those accepted for the Fall 2011
semester was a 4.0 GPA, 1710 SAT, and 26 ACT.</p>
