NY Eve/Day Activities, Drinks, Food!

We brought deviled eggs to a house party. They were a hit. As is often the case here in CO (at least with us older folk), the champagne toast was at 10pm when we watched the ball come down in NYC

It was a bit more trouble than usual making them because I had a devil of a time (ha, no pun intended) peeling the eggs - they were a mess. I had to use new eggs, perhaps very new due to the egg shortage… and maybe that’s why my normal method didn’t work as well. So I bought another dozen and tried the Instapot method. That worked better, perhaps because that time I did an ice bath instead of the usual cold weather. As you can imagine, we’ll be doing a lot of hard boiled eggs and egg salad at my house this week.
