I have my two cups in the morning (French press) and that’s it. Caffeine can keep me from sleeping if I drink it in the afternoon, but a few years ago, coffee+stress was causing my heart to act up (PVC’s). I quit caffeine (and the stress went away in time) and the heart effects stopped. I still have my morning coffee but now it’s almost exclusively decaf and I only rarely have caffeine of any kind. I’ve found I don’t miss it, so for any of you who think that you may have reached the upper limit—feel free to quit—life is fine without caffeine!
