Familiarize yourself with the CAS MAP requirements:

[Program Guidelines, CAS MAP | NYU](http://map.cas.nyu.edu/page/programguidelines#selecting)

Take into consideration any credits of yours - up to 32 credits - that can be accepted by NYU (based on AP exam scores received and college courses taken), then determine if they get you out of any MAP requirements, e.g., foreign language (through intermediate level - 2 years), sciences (2 classes), quantitative reasoning (1 class).

[NYU > CAS > Bulletin 2010 - 2012 > Admission](http://cas.nyu.edu/object/bulletin1012.ug.admission#APEQU)

Decide what electives or major-related classes you want to take early (freshman or sophomore year), if they fit into your schedule after filling in MAP required courses.
