I’m still only showing 2015 No Access Available instead of the 2016…

I still have “award access not available” does anyone know what that means

@510shopgirl Do you have 2016 next to it?

I have not gotten the financial aid change. I am from NY, I submitted my app on Oct 30, and the FA things later on. I applied for Anthropology and Linguistics!

Hey guys! I applied ED1 to CAS and I’m from Northern California. I also got the FA change but I’m not sure if it means anything…

I haven’t gotten the FA change yet. I’m really disappointed. I hope there is still a chance that I got in…
Good luck to everyone.

@NYUFan101 there are no years next to it is just simply says “award access not available”

@NYUFan101 Yo yo yo don’t say that. You’re like the kind of candidate that I wouldn’t even give a second thought if I was reviewing for Stern. You’ll probably get the change an hour before decisions or something.

All I know is that if I were given a million to bet on either you getting accepted or rejected, I’d put it on you getting accepted.

This is the evil side of the FA change theory! I don’t want people who didn’t get it to freak out.

Chill out homies

@NYUFan101 there’s no number or year next to the message. It just says “award access not available”

by the way guys… the FA theory is, to put it nicely, untrue.

On the 2018 ED II (not ED 1) thread, there many people WITH FA changes who got rejected.

But the FA change is still a nice premonition I suppose

@Jarjarbinks23 ugh I really hope you’re right

@ericaj26 when did you submit your application?

@510shopgirl I submitted it October 31st!

Thanks! Ya I’m trying to stay positive. @510shopgirl Ya, I’m waiting for the 2016 to show up. Grrrr. I hate to say it guys, but this will be a long two weeks!

I got the change this morning! I’m from NYC, I applied to Gallatin on Oct. 31st & submitted the CSS profile on the 15th. I hope this FA theory is true & this means something good…

Hey guys, so I also applied as an ED applicant and I didn’t receive the change yet. I sent out the application on the 28th of October, and i’m applying to Steinhardt as an international student. I also didn’t apply for financial aid, does that make a difference? It’s stressing me out…

It might be that you only get the change early if you submitted a CSS or FAFSA Financial Aid application??? Did anyone who got it NOT SUBMIT for financial aid or did anyone who didn’t get it apply for financial aid?

@NYUFan101 yeah I submitted my CSS profile on November 15th

ok guys - i applied around October 10, ED1 to Gallatin and I just noticed now my financial aid says Aid Year 2016 and “No self service access for this aid year.” Im not sure when I got the FA change, as I haven’t checked that part of Albert until today, but it’s there now
Is that good news???
I have a 110 weighted gpa out of 100 and a 2190 on my sat

NYU is my absolute dream school and has been for quite a while. Hoping this is a good sign?

Guys, try this. Go to your Financial Aid Summary page and there should be a little box with “go to…” near the top. Click on it and select “Student Center” and then click the go button. Now, on the right side, you should see a box that says “Holds”. Click on “Details” and see what it says. This is what I found. http://postimg.org/image/r5y94or15/
