I applied ED, but if I don’t get much aid (primarily merit), I think I’ll have to turn it down :/

Finally decided to make an account after reading the entire thread!

@hunggngguyen I’m from California, and had my interview with NYUSH which was my second choice.

Question - if I have the FA change, and if it does indicate acceptance, could I be accepted into my second choice? I’m applying to Stern but put down Steinhardt as 2nd choice. Showed interests in SH and AD as well.

Maybe this is just me but I feel like if I was rejected from Stern but accepted to my 2nd choice (Gallatin), it would be a slap in the face.

It’s like “Oh you didnt get what you worked for (Stern), but here’s your consolation prize (Gallatin).” Maybe Im feeling too entitled, idk

My FA just changed into “2016 No self-service access available.”

@rindala you got an interview??? okay i guess I’m not getting in… I’m also international, applying to the same school…

@hunggngguyen i feel you about the interview, this is so nerve-wracking… :/

7 days!

@umhhnervousone its alright try to get over it and look at other schools! dont view it too much as an expectation!!

Exactly a week! I’m so nervous!!!

Hi guys!! i applied to NYU ED1 too…and i got an interview via Skype for NYUSH few weeks ago…
The interviewer said they interview mostly all the students who apply to NYUSH as one of their campus choices
And it says the result comes out on the 15th after 5pm on the website…
im so confused now When exactly does the result come out?

I thought the results came out December 15th too until I logged into my ALBERT and clicked applicants. There it explains that we find out December 12th at 5pm. A week from today !

Hi guys…so until a few days ago there was nothing under my financial aid package but now suddenly i have the following message:

2016 - New York University - No self-service access for this aid year.

Does anyone know what this means in terms of accepted/rejected? I’m so confused…

@collegehelp08 it is a good sign. But acceptance is not guaranteed.

@alysiag Albert still says the 15th.

Decisions are coming out on the 15th! :(

@collegehelp08 did you apply for financial aid? i have that too
