<p>@hammadil I applied to Stern ED, but Stern is nowhere near as good as Wharton, HYP, Stanford, MIT, UChicago, or Columbia. Degrees from those schools are more reputable and prestigious. They’re more selective, have better connections, better placement at top companies, and better alumni network. </p>

<p>@sgballsta Yea all those ivys are more prestigious… i don’t know much about the other Ivys, but i think the undergrad life in general at nyu is better than columbia’s. Just my opinion though</p>

<p>Columbia has a great undergrad life. I have older siblings and cousins who attend and they love it there. Everyone is involved, committed to clubs, etc. An econ degree from Columbia is more valuable than any Stern degree though. Just putting it out there, </p>

<p>I remember reading somewhere that nyu precariously walks the thin line between the worst of the best and the best of the worst. Columbia has and always will surpass that line as it’s an Ivy League and sadly NYU as amazing as it is, is not. </p>
