So that’s 30 students added to the list in 15 minutes (it was at 3099 15 minutes ago in above thread). Which is promising, because not growing astronomically.
found something different. in the housing portal. once you get to the summer option… click on the 3 lines to the left. under your name, there is a message option. I DID NOT have this before.

ok guys. i am really doubtful that this is a tell. of all 22 people who have taken it so far, every single one could see themselves on the list.
my theory is that if you login to the data portal, you’re automatically added to the list – which explains why it is “growing”(more logins) and why if you lookup your friends they don’t come up on it. but we will find out fs at 4pm

the numbers are growing substantially but still the number of applicants is way too large too add all for rd

interesting info though. you see only 3k people on the list and everyone have “@nyu.edu” email assigned to it.
I don’t think that happened as with that logic many shouldve been online…dont think its about logging in
they prolly autogenerate the emails as soon as they create ur portal

i think so – i don’t think the list is just limited to applicants this yr either - i think it’s a list of anyone w an nyu account who logged onto the data center.
