I had No App for a while but that’s because I did a NYU Program prior to applying. The day before ED2 Decisions came out I had Spring 24, Summer 24, and Fall 24 housing. Like the hours before decisions were released I just had Summer 24 housing,

uh idk if this is smthg…but I wanted to submit some supplementary to nyu a week ago so I emailed them with it along with my linkedlin link…they replied saying they do not accept supplementary due to ‘volume of applications’…but the same day I get a ‘someone from NYU viewed your profile’ …

My id is all correct. Idk about the person I know that got into NYU because I don’t really know them that well.
did you share the link? Because I defo did in that email and same day someone viewed it…plus they said they’re ot accepting supplementary

No…but I did work with NYU on an advocacy project. I mentioned that in my app and linked the page where they posted about the project I was a part of
Someone from NYU AD had also previously reviewed my profile in mid Feb…but AD wasn’t my first choice and I wasnt invited to CW which is a soft rejection
oh then it probably doesn’t mean anything…

For the sake of not doxxing myself, I wud just say I worked with them on a policy project where I was one of the young people they consulted and invited to present the paper. I couldn’t attend in person as my visa cudn’t come in on time but someone from NYU even sent me an invitation letter for the event! It was through a civil society org I work with and they work with one of the many policy-related centers in NYU.
