I had the same issue @booyakah Call them! I called them and explained the situation and they said that I had began the application as if I was a spring student which was why I had non-renewable lol. They then fixed it for me and told me to try again in a couple of hours and it worked perfectly fine.
@kker98 im sorry but im literally so confused… how have u done phase 1 when it says that its not available until March 7th?? Am I looking at the wrong thing? this is what im reading: http://www.nyu.edu/life/living-at-nyu/on-campus-living/application-and-assignments/reapp.html and my nyu housing page is literally saying that my application is unavailable under ‘fall in nyu global campus’… would love some help!! 
@RSalvatierra I just called the office regarding the housing issue and the admissions officer said that my housing status is supposed to say non-renewable undergraduate. They said I can start filling out the form sometime in April, so I don’t really know what to do. It doesn’t make much sense why some people are able to start filling out the application while others are not, but I think I’ll wait for a couple of weeks and see.
@lailap I have no idea but me and my friend all have it so I just figured I would be nice if I can fill it out early
@lailap The link you posted is for returning undergraduates applying for housing for next year (so people who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors next year). The housing selection process for incoming freshman is completely different.

@lailap so have you pay the $1000 dollar housing deposite? According to NYU, u will have access to your housing choice after you pay it
@kker98 I use fastweb and collegeboard. Just make a profile and theres tons of scholarships you can apply for!
I can’t believe your parents are paying full tutition!! We wouldn’t even be able to pay half if I dont get any more money
@youngaa thanks for telling me that! Yes I guess I’m pretty lucky that my parents are paying but still I need some scholarships just to relief their pressure a little bit : )

I’m an international student that got into Stern and I’ve payed the $1500 enrollment and housing fee. Does anyone know what I do now?
And another question: I read that the introductory week is from 28 August- 3 September and then classes start on 6 September. Does anyone know what will happen during this week? My family needs to go back home after dropping me and wants to know if I’ll need them for the whole of this week.

@tomnoble There should be a To-Do List that was in your acceptance letter. NYU’s Welcome Week doesn’t require your family, so they don’t have to stay. Congrats!
